There are no specialized construction courts in Oman, and the courts rely mainly on experts accredited by the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs. However, it is rare to hire an expert who has experience in complex disputes that require detailed analysis of a large amount of data such as daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, program updates, meeting minutes, drawings, specifications, correspondence, etc. My previous practice of over 13 years at two international law firms has given me the opportunity to work on complex construction files and enhance my skills and knowledge in construction law. This excellent experience coincided with a strong presence in Omani courts, which involved me in many construction cases as a lawyer or arbitrator chosen by one of the parties to the dispute.
