Every day is different and one colleague described it as the bar exam every time she comes to work. It`s wonderful to see the direct impact that can be achieved for people who often have nowhere to go. It also makes me appreciate what I have on a daily basis. An opportunity to work as a legal receptionist, work with many community organizations that clients can use, and help a large group of lawyers meet clients` needs. The best part of the job was working with seniors, gathering the information needed to complete legal documents, and helping with documents, such as wills, powers of attorney, deposits, schedules. Working with clients was very rewarding as I was the first person I met and sought advice and recommendations within the community, which I responded to based on the data I had compiled.
